Aboriginal women’s health research synthesis project : final report

This paper seeks to contribute to this process in four principal ways: By providing an overview of key health and health-related indicators for Aboriginal women in Canada; By conducting a critical review and synthesis of research and other initiatives on Aboriginal womenÉ__s health undertaken or funded by the Centres of Excellence for WomenÉ__s Health; By reporting on the proceedings of the National Workshop on Aboriginal WomenÉ__s Health Research, held in Ottawa in March 2001; By formulating recommendations to serve as the basis for priority-setting in future Aboriginal womenÉ__s health research activities.
