Description

This report summarises the results of focus groups and interviews with 140 Aboriginal women in eight sites across Canada to study the relationship between Aboriginal culture and contemporary education and work. The author’s main recommendation is that specific elements of governance and policy-making should meet individual community needs and respect differences in community culture, tradition and circumstance.
